Food is pretty good. I got the AZ88 chicken salad and it was super yummy. The place is very light and aesthetic. And service was pretty great. The waitress was attentive and very fast.

What a great experience! It's been several years since we've been here but decided to go for my birthday. So happy to see things haven't changed! Drinks were delicious, food was amazing and service was exceptional! Thanks for another great memory AZ88

The drinks at AZ88 are AMAZING and filled to the rim. A more trendy vibe here. Food is pretty good, although nothing special, although you're coming here more for the drinks than the food. 5/5 for the quality of the drinks

I went here for a drink and regret that I didn't stay for dinner. It's a really cute spot-very bright and roomy, and I can tell that although it wasn't crowded when I went, it probably gets pretty crowded. Good scene. I had an espresso martini and my friend had a classic vodka martini. My drink was absolutely delicious and well balanced-not too sweet. I had a sip of my friend's martini and I will definitely have to go back to have one of those. They serve the drinks in frosty martini glasses too, which is awesome. The food looked so good, I definitely have to come back to eat. They have tvs so you can watch the game, too.

They don't do any reservations so we waited an hour and a half. Happy I got to finally try this place, we sat outside weather was perfect. All the drinks were good, not too strong and just the right buzz. Martinis come to the rim, not too sweet either. Our food came so fast and it was delicious. Portions are pretty huge I must say! Our waiter was interesting... joked around maybe a little too much where it came off as a little rude. Not sure if that wait was worth it so don't come at prime time on a Saturday night, but worth the one time experience. Also they don't do any complimentary birthday desserts :(

As a lover of espresso martinis, I knew I had to check out AZ88's. Afterall, they landed number 7 on Yelp's "Ten espresso martinis you'll agree are worth the buzz" blog in 2023! We had a friend visiting from out of town and thought it was the perfect opportunity to check it out. We arrived on a Sunday evening. AZ88 does not accept reservations, and fortunately for us, AZ88 was not packed that evening. The space is inviting. The dim lighting makes it a little sexy and romantic. We chose outdoor seating and were seated immediately. The server came to greet us shortly after and took our drinks orders. I ordered the espresso martini and my husband and our friend both ordered an old fashioned. The drinks arrived promptly and wow, their espresso martini is one of the best I've ever had! I enjoyed it so much I ordered another one halfway through the meal. It had just the perfect amount of creaminess and sweetness to me. The guys also enjoyed their old fashioned drinks and ordered seconds. For food, we ordered: Shrimp ceviche $17 Dipping fries $13 St. Petersburg Potatoes $14 Halibut entree $36 AZ88 Chicken $18 The first three items are appetizers. They were delicious and great for sharing. My favorite was the dipping fries. It came with waffle fries with remoulade, spicy chili ketchup, and buffalo-bleu dips. Hubs and I split the halibut entree. It came with half a pound of Atlantic halibut white-fish, pan-seared with lemon, capers, white wine, and garlic butter then served with baby red potatoes and grilled green beans. The kitchen split the entree into two plates for us, which was appreciated. After starting with three appetizers, half of the entree was more than enough for us. Our friend ordered the chicken sandwich and had no complaints! Food and service were excellent. I highly recommend AZ88, especially to espresso martini lovers!

Stopped here for a drink after dinner on a Saturday night. For a table there was an hour wait and for a drink at the bar you can just walk up to it. There are no paper me is, just scanning a QR code in signs sitting on the bar. The bartender noticed me right away ans asked what I wanted. I ordered the porn star martini and my date ordered the espresso martini. They were filled to the brim and had to drink some before taking off the bar. The vibe is very upbeat and great for people watching. In side can get a little loud, the outdoor patio overlooks the park area at the Scottsdale Civic center.

We came here based on reviews and the distance to the civic center. The waitress that served us was very friendly at the end of the meal she asked if we wanted water to go in a coffee cup, which was nice of her. They do have a great lunch menu. I think the lunch or brunch menu is similar and the dinner one too. It took a while to decide what to order as there was so much to choose from. Finally, we chose the Hellfire chips, Bonfire Chicken, and the Bigger Mac & Fries. The Hellfire chips weren't that hot. It was just regular potato chips with hot sauce on it. The Bonfire Chicken was grilled chicken on a savory sauce with vegetables.

Life is better with a little fizz and cocktail bliss. And for me, I definitely enjoy life when there's an espresso martini involved. A huge group of us came here after a fun YEE and had some martinis. Biggest thanks to Omari D (y'all need to add him) for organizing this. Omari brings the party and he's the kindest and sweetest guy around. On that particular evening, I think they just released their holiday cocktails so I think peppermint was also involved but I can't be sure. I do want to note that my glass was filled to the brim. Excellent. Sitting pretty in Old Town Scottsdale is AZ88. It's a swanky contemporary bar serving up boozy cocktails and tasty bites. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it's a gorgeous place. I'd love to come back again to try more cocktails and bites!
